BEAUTIFUL ROBYN GC-7C “TWIN METERS,” GREAT LIGHTING, WORKS PERFECTLY, SCAN ETC.

Description

The Robyn GT-7C is a vintage 23-channel AM crystal-synthesized mobile CB radio manufactured in Japan during the classic CB era. It features a distinct dual-meter layout, an upward-only channel selector switch (often located on the side or microphone), and a unique scanning audio sound.

Key Features

– Channels: 23 AM channels (crystal synthesized rather than modern PLL-based)

– Power Output: Standard 5 watts RF output

– Design: Distinctive dual-meter display (for signal strength and modulation/SWR)

– Functions: Built-in channel scan feature and Automatic Noise Limiter (ANL)

Collector & Operating Notes

– Crystal Synthesis: Unlike modern 40-channel radios, older crystal units require specific internal crystals to change or expand frequency bands.

– Maintenance: Vintage units often require capacitor replacements, switch cleaning with deoxit, and proper SWR tuning with an external antenna before regular operation
